Directions

  • Take your best route to I-69 and Exit 112.
  • Exit onto Coldwater Road South.
  • Take Coldwater Road to Washington Center Road (the next major intersection) and turn left (east) onto Washington Center Road.
  • Washington Center Road turns into St. Joe Center Road after the river. 1
  • Take St. Joe Center Road to the second light after the bridge, which is St. Joe Road 2, and turn left (north).
  • The park is on the left (west) side, about ½ mile from the light, across the street from the American Legion Post.
  • Follow the posted signs inside the park to Conklin Pavilion.

  1. Washington Center Road and St. Joe Center Road (actually, St. Joseph Center Road, but all the locals call it St. Joe) are so named because they run through the center of Washington Township and St. Joseph Township, respectively.
  2. On the other hand, St. Joe Road (actually St. Joseph Road, but, again, locals simplify it into St. Joe) is named for the St. Joseph River that flows directly beside it.
